Weekly Plans for November 6 - 10, 2017
This week will be devoted to introducing adjectives ( pages 15 - 26) in the grammar workbook and working on the "finishing the story" assignment. (due Thursday, November 9th). We will also watch the movie version of Flowers for Algernon. This film will take two class periods. There will be no vocabulary unit this week. There will be a special day of artistic programming on Friday, November 10th...no regular classes. Monday: Introduce the adjective. Have students come up to the board and identify the adjectives in sentences, while the students at their seats do the same. The remaining time left in the class will concentrate on quiet individual work on their stories. Homework : pages 14 and 15in the grammar workbook. This will be a homework grade. Tuesday: Go over their homework. (pages 14-15). Begin the film: Flowers for Algernon. (Blocks 2 and 5). Wednesday: Same as above for blocks 6 and 7. Block 2 will finish the film.
